By downloading or using PortMemo, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

PortMemo helps you photograph cable / port layouts, number occupied ports, and restore connections in order using an on-device reference and checkoff workflow. Features may include a free project limit and optional paid upgrades (PortMemo Pro).

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms and these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the App except as allowed by law.

3. Your content

You retain rights to photos and project data you create. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to capture and store that content.

You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes or to store content that violates others’ rights.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

PortMemo may offer:

Payments are charged to your Apple ID through the App Store. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings. Restoring purchases is available in the App where provided.

Pricing is shown by the App Store at purchase time. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies.

5. Free features and Pro

The free version may limit the number of projects (currently two). Pro unlocks additional capabilities such as unlimited projects and project export for handoff, as described in the App at the time of purchase.

Features not offered in the App (including cloud sharing that is hidden or not shipped) are not part of your purchase.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that relying on a photo reference will prevent all connection mistakes. You remain responsible for safe handling of equipment and for verifying connections.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business interruption, arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for PortMemo Pro in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD $10, except where law prohibits such limitation.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may stop providing the App or change features. Provisions that by nature should survive (including disclaimers and liability limits) will survive termination.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The effective date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply.
